About

Hello. I live in Mandaluyong City and work from my home-attic studio where my ideas are scribbled, inked, and painted. I still practice  the traditional paper-pencil drawing, but most of my present projects were done using Procreate and IPAD & Pencil.

My folks recall, I could draw before I could write. I began illustrating the day I learned to use a pencil.  By the time I was in pre-school, I was constantly scribbling on paper, on books, on school boards, on posters, on trees, on dirt,  on the sand,  and on walls.   Much to my mom’s delight, the walls of our home would be well adorned with crayons and pencil marks faster than she could clean them.

Illustration made it possible for High School to be a bit easier than your average penniless youth. By then, I was able to market my skills enough to be self-sufficient. My scribbling paid my way thru tuition, bus fares, the cafeteria, a few drinks, and a few movie premiers.

I studied BS Architecture to hone my illustration skills. I practiced architectural work for only a couple of years, then I decided to shift to full-time illustration and graphic design. I also took Bachelor of Arts in Economics and studied some short political economy courses, and it helps me to understand society and to better illustrate my political cartoons.

As of now, the list of my clients includes local and foreign businesses and individuals. If you think you could use me for an illustration job, feel free to contact me and I’m sure we will work something out. I am located in the Philippines but enjoy working with people all over the world.
